Today, the oldest woman alive, 115, died. After having asked God for the last 15 years to finally give her some rest, he did and now she’s happy as a spirit among the dead. 115. Man, THAT’S OLD!
Well, we finally got some invitations. Sort of. We bought a pile of paper that we are going to use for our wedding reception invitations. Since the ceremony is private, the invitations for those will be different but the reception invites are Halloween themed so tonite, hopefully we’ll get the wording settled or at least started, and be on our way to having those done. Those need to be sent out by the end of the week for sure.
Word on the street is that truckers intend to blockade off the highways in and out of Moncton this weekend in some sort of protest about the price of gas. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Piss off thousands of people and see what comes of it. That’ll sure make them lower the price of gas. For frig sakes, we’re lucky. There are plenty of places in the world right now where the price of gas is WAY higher than we have it so despite the fact that yeah, it is too damn high, get the hell over it and just deal with it.
I have now postponed my latest MS cert to October. I was going to try and postpone it for mid-November but the site won’t let me so I’ll have to wait a few weeks. I figured I would wait until the wedding stuff is out of the way, and these new modules are completed so that I am not spending all of my evenings trying to get regular work and wedding stuff done, plus study for a cert. Only so much time in the day.
