Well, the cat is out of the bag now.
Back in January, one of the concerns I had was the fact that my students could possibly find out I have this site and begin visiting it on a regular basis. Not that I have anything to hide, but I had to make sure that I was careful about what I wrote here. We would not want a repeat of my Norampac incident. The last thing I want is saying something that is really very inappropriate for a blog site. Regardless, I figured at some point someone would find this site, and then get a kick out of it.
That actually happened many months ago. I had two students from a class actually type in my name with a dot com and of course found this place. It never went beyond that. I then challenged another student (remember Dan?) to try and find the answer about why I have DING on my license plate by ?googling? it. He finally came upon this site.
Since then, I have discovered several other students that have now stumbled upon Bobsroom.Com. Shouldn?t surprise me any but I always feel a bit odd when I see a student on break reading my blog. Regardless, to my students who may happen to read this: Welcome. Be prepared. This is me as I am outside the class and it may frighten you. More than you can imagine
So today? Well, as I indicated in my last post, I have started revamping the gallery. It is still currently disabled, but I have managed to install a new piece of software that I think will work well. It does not integrate with my CMS I have here but does work very well. I am hoping that the oddities I experienced today are the result of bad luck, and not poor programming. If it is the latter, I?ll be moving to something else again. I really like the look and feel of it but if all else fails, I can move the photos to my Rogers account and simply link them here. That might end up being the best bet anyway since I have no space limitations on that. I don?t like the idea of hosting my personal images on my Rogers account but maybe it would be best.
I never got the chance to post last night because we were quite busy. I came home after supper (went to Pizza Hut) and watched some tube before me and Tamara did some visiting. I then got home and proceeded to watch more tube. Been VERY damn lazy which is NOT a good thing but the truth is that vacation is coming soon.
