Holy. I can’t believe the weekend is gone already. Frig sakes. Where the hell did it go? Why do I get the feeling that my entire vacation will be the same way?
So, let’s see. Yesterday, Tamara had a painting class so I slept in, watched some tube, and then proceeded to go get my regular Saturday sausage which had a major suck factor to it this time. Probably had to do with the fact that I wasn’t all that hungry and it wasn’t the regular guy. Tamara saw the mould of her ring which we are having made and should be ready in 3 weeks. Just in time for the wedding.
We wandered around town a bit looking at some various stuff and then eventually tried to find a store which had a copy of “Space Nuts”. If you don’t know the movie, don’t ask. It was in a bunch of documentaries we saw and was even mentioned in the 40 Year Old Virgin but no one in town seems to have it. Heh. Oh well.
Today was pretty mild. I kicked back, watched a bunch of Star Trek while Tamara went to some wedding show thing at Howard Johnson’s and then tonite, we did the gift registry thing at Walmart. VERY cool. You punch your name into the computer, and then go aroun d the store scanning stuff. All the stuff you scan goes into their computer and your friends can print off a list of what you want. VERY neat.
I also discovered tonite that there is an Age of Empires 3, which I am now downloading the demo for. I don’t think the game is out yet but if it is, I NEED THIS DAMN GAME! WOW! Talk about nice visuals. I am going to install the demo and see how it goes. Hopefully, it will play nicely with my system and will look as nice as the screenshots I have now seen.
The demo is downloaded so I must go try.
