Not Wednesday

Weird. I kept thinking today was Wednesday for awhile there. Glad to see that my vacation is actually longer than I was thinking. heh.

So news here. Hmmmm… Well, I ran into my former brother in law, Jason Vautour, down at Burger King. He is doing well. Sounds like he is really excelling in his job which is good.

Yesterday was filled with very little. Did a pile of shopping, sort of. Tamara bought a new memory card for the digital camera so she could have the old one for her MP3 player. We now can take 630 photos on the 5mpx camera which is sweet. I think we can actually get far more than that but we’ll have to see.

We booked the hotel for our honeymoon of sorts, in Halifax. Won’t be a long stay but it will be nice to go out for a few days and be away from everything. The wedding is slowly approaching and man, I am getting psyched. I can’t wait to have our big party. I really hope the weather cooperates with us so we can have an outdoor wedding, but if not, it’ll be ok.

Being on vacation does have its perks since I can basically sit around and do piss all and enjoy it. I can tell you that I have a few things I want to do around the house, but nothing major. I want to get the speakers in the kitchen hooked up, put some of my certificates up, collect some of the bottles around the house, and maybe do a little tidying up here and there but beyond that, I am trying my best to remain as lazy as possible. I don’t get time off like this very often so I need to enjoy it as much as I can. I do know that I have a long weekend coming up in October, plus Nov. 11th off, and then a full 2 weeks at Christmas (paid, yummy!) so I can look forward to more time to veg.

I have not heard from the fatherly figure for awhile. Not sure what his story is. Kinda irritates me knowing that he is still waiting, and the likelihood of him showin up here for the wedding is slim to none now. I’m sort of irritated by it but at the same time, it’s like whatever. Just get your shit together and show up whenever.

I played the demo of that new game and it does look good but I will have to get the full version first before I can make any definitive judgements on it. I don’t game a lot so it’s hard to say whether or not it would be very good anyway.

With that said, I think I am going to do something. Not sure what. I’m feeling sort of blah in regards to what to do. There’s not much on the tube until Star Trek comes on and I feel like I should do something constructive. Any ideas?
