I promised an update this morning, so here it is. I have a few minutes so let?s get down to some updating.
First off, I will say that I am very close to having the problems fixed with the visual look of the site but it will likely have to wait until after the honeymoon. We?ll see. Anyways, on to the weekends activities.
Let?s see. Saturday was a major day of errands and getting a bunch of stuff finished. By the time we got home, I was already tired, but alas, we had to clean the house as the boys were coming over for a night of games and good times. Tamara took off, and we had some food, BBQ?ing in the garage was interesting. Gotta remember to keep that garage door open. Man what a lot of smoke. Played a few rounds of poker, and was asked to wear this g-string on my head, which was pretty funny. Also played some sort of perverted pictionary, and SuperTock. Had a lot of fun and am really glad the guys came out. Thanks to everyone for showing up.
Sunday was wedding stuff. We drove out to Centennial Park and Fair Haven to check out good spots for having pictures taken. We were going to go check a few hotels but did not get the chance. We headed up to the lodge around 3ish. Mr. Penny showed up around 3:30 and we talked about a few things but by 4, everyone else was there so we really started. W definitively decided that we were not going to have the ceremony outside. The weather is just too unpredictable and what we have planned for inside will look very nice.
We went through the motions and got a lot of things sorted out. As per my request, we did not rehearse the vows, as I do not want to say them until the actual day. I do however have to memorize them, as I will not have a cue. A little hard but nothing too serious as I already have a chunk of them covered. Ben, Valerie, and everyone was there so it was good to have everyone on the same page.
We then went to Tamara?s moms where we all had Chinese food and man, it went down good. I gotta say though, Diamond take-out is still way better. Came home and watched a pile of TV, and then crashed for bed. Quite a full weekend.
This week, finalize all of the wedding stuff, get the schoolwork out of the way, prepare for graduation at the school, and get ready for Saturday?s ceremony and reception. It is going to be a hell of a busy week. I would like to point out right now that there may be lapses in postings for the next week as I will be more focused on things around than trying to post on here. I do promise to try and get some photos and such posted as soon as they are available.
