New short week. Yay! Started two new modules today which was nice. Linux and a Microsoft one. I gotta say, I think both are going to go quite well but admittedly, I really like the Linux module. But, the afternoon one is good because I’m writing a cert for it this month. Hopefully all will go well. Regarding that, I have to go do some studying myself tonite. Got a pile of reading to do and really should start with the self test stuff again but I think I will focus on getting some much needed reading in first, and then later I’ll work on the self-testing. I have a new study guide I can use as well.

Speaking of things tech, since we installed Linux at work today (or I did rather) I am really tempted to install the same copy at home. Mandriva 2006. Works very nice and to be honest, I’m tempted to blow away windows and just stick with Linux. The only bitch is video sampling and editting. I have a pile of that to do so for now I think I will resize one partition and install Linux there. Anyone know of any good video editors/samplers for Linux?

Tamara is gone to volleyball tonite so I have the house to myself. I’m not really in the mood to read right now but Surface is on at 9 and Vegas at 10 and I’d really like to watch both. In TV land, the race is on Tuesday for 2 hours but is a bit late. This whole working for a living thing and having to get up early really bites. Anyone know of a way to fix the lottery so I can a nice cut?

I have not had time to go down to the comic shop and get the next issue of Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles which is the comic series bringing us up to speed with what’s going to happen on the DVD. I thought it was going to be a TV show but I guess it’s just a DVD release which is not such a bad thing but I wish there was a full new series. Perhaps the DVD will spark interest back in Robotech and a new series will be born. I hope!

I gotta say, I’ve been lazy fixing the site but you know what, it doesn’t matter a lot. I mean, the site doesn’t look too bad right now with a few minor irritations, so beyond that, it’s just me finding the time to do it. There’s a lot of stuff I need to get done. Actually, I had to do some research regarding web hosting for a guy at work. I need to deploy a website for him and get them going so I had to verify the pricing info for them. I know what I pay but I was on an old hosting plan so I checked it and it’s about what I thought which is good 🙂
