Heya

I am not so annoyed now. I finally got Windows to agree with me. Only one minor thing that isn’t working but I can fix that later I’m sure.

So what a day. I started out trying to fix a network issue with MP3’s between me and Tamara’s computer but turned it into an OS reinstall, which was badly needed anyway, and an overhaul in the hardware area. I moved some drives around which will hopefully do some major improvement in my burning abilities. Plus, I’ll be moving another burner into Tamara’s PC for mass burning operations.

So now I have a gaping hole in my case since I have a drive bay empty but I think I know what is going to happen there. I need to install or rather I want to install an old tape drive I have since I want to start archiving some of my DVD images onto tape and get them off of my hard drive. I could of course just invest in another drive but that of course would require cash, something I am not in a large supply of plus the fact that this is already hardware I have sitting in a box in the garage gathering dust. 🙂

Day was pretty funky. Valerie, Darren, and Byron were by today. I didn’t realize that I was wearing this shirt when I walked into the kitchen and there they were, Byron and all (he’s 7) and so I quickly realized the situation and turned around and went back to my room where I quickly changed my shirt. Kinda funny. That, plus the whole “wanna see?!?!” thing made it a humourous afternoon. Heheh.

Back to work tomorrow. These weekends don’t seem to last as long as they should. The only good thing is that I know I have two weeks off coming up in December/January and I am going to seriously enjoy them. I have not done any work on the wedding video since I sampled it onto the computer. I had built a small video of the “prep” but that is now outdated since I have decided to make a few changes. I have some ideas and such so I want to get going on that but with having to study and such it’s a busy time right now. I have a cert coming up in a few weeks and it is my intention to achieve three more before the end of March. I’d like to snag my MCSA before spring and if I can get through this exam I am writing next, and get my MCSA, then that means I will only be two away from the MCSE which I am sure I can get before summer. I already ordered my vouchers for MCSA. I decided that I am going on the 2000 track because I already have two exams done, plus the 298 will put me 4 away from it where the 2003 would be 5 exams away, Plus, I can write the upgrade exam later but at least I would have the MCSE.

For those of you who don’t know, both MCSA & MCSE are Microsoft certifications that have a certain amount of relavance in the world out there. I already have an MCP, A+, Network+, Inet+, Linux+, and CNA and all of which I am very comfortable with. Jaja.

Went through some old paperwork and photos tonite. Kinda funny. Saw some stuff that mildly amused me and slightly disturbed me. Old photos that are just awful and stuff that’s just funny. Chris passed out on the lawn in Wolfville. Funny.

I’m sort of wound up. I don’t know what else to write about so I think I’ll just leave it for now. I put a massive playlist on (2500+ songs) and it’s interesting to see what comes up between mine and Tamara’s music. Faith No More, George Strait, Cannibal Corpse, Kenny Chesney, Anal Cunt, Brooks & Dunn. It’s very apparent who’s music is who’s. Heh
