More later, as promised

I did not get to my post yesterday because, well, the power failed. Heh. We had no power from about 3:30 til we got home sometime around 8 or 9ish last night so I am making my post today.

So, the big news yesterday was that I passed 70-218 which makes me an official MCSA. That also means that I am now 2 exams away from an MCSE which I must say, I will be going for shortly down the road.

In other news, my time off has ended and on Monday, I start a new job. I got my schedule and I need to write out some questionos to ask, but beyond that, I am very anxious.

Last night, we went out to supper, and Tamara bought a new 300GB hard drive for her computer. Very nice one and she’ll be making good use of it since she was getting low on space on her system.

For me, I bought a couple of puzzle games last night, and am doing a test burn of one of the movies I copied off the PVR. I like this whole copy thing. It works quite well.

It’s freaking cold out today. We’re going to go out and see if sausage guy is working but somehow I suspect he took the day off with the kind of nasty weather we’re having. Even if he’s not out, I’ll still get some lunch, and we’re going to go see “Date Movie” today. Yes, it’s probably going to be VERY lame but movies like that give me a good laugh and everyone needs a good laugh.

I did a bit of an overhaul on some of the stuff on this site. There were some things that were outdated so I updated them, mainly some stuff about Bob, my FAQ, and I found a link to my David Letterman experience that I had totally forgotten about so I added it back into the mix of things. I’ve kind of settled back on the look of the site. It looks good and is working well so I don’t think I’ll be changing it very soon. We’ll have to see.

I ran into Mark Lipton, AKA Bus Rider yesterday at Costco. He is doing well. Had quite a talk with him about Compucollege as he has been pondering going back to school. Gave him the low down and the ups and downs. He’s been at Costco for 10 years so I can see the need for change.

I had something else that I wanted to post today but I’ll be damned if I can think of it right now so I guess I’ll leave it for now, and come back to it.
