Well folks, it finally happened. After having put up with some much freaking spam for so long, I finally decided to do the unthinkable and changed my email address. After having used matt@bobsroom.com for so long, I have accumulated a very large amount of spam and after several attempts of digging myself out of the spam hole I was in, it has just been easier to change email addresses. The nice thing about having my own domain names is that I can change it to anything I want, plus, I also can keep the old one active for messages that come in.
You might not think that changing your email address is such a big deal but in fact it is. Sending out messages to friends saying that your email has changed is not a big deal. But having to keep the old account open can be a big deal sometimes when you need to access old messages from websites you have signed up for. A lot of places have my old email address so I have to keep it open for those instances. Since it doesn’t cost me anything and is rather painless, it won’t be a problem. Thank God for filters on email.
So, if you did not receive an email from me informing you about my change, and would like my new email address, do not hesitate to use the contact form on my site to email me and I’ll respond.
