Well let me tell you, for someone who doesn?t do a whole lot, I certainly did this weekend. Let?s start with Friday.

Friday night, I headed down to the Tim Horton?s Fourplex where Geeks on Ice was happening. Whitehill was playing against OAO and we won! Woo hoo!!! We celebrated the win by pigging out on wings, nachos, and pizza. Me and a few boys from Whitehill ended up taking off from there and then heading down to the Rockin Rodeo.

Now, anyone who knows me knows I don?t do clubs but Tamara was gone for the weekend and I had nothing else to do so why not. Well, I was reminded of why I don?t go to clubs, especially as a married man. I can say that the wildlife was out in full force, but its definitely not healthy for a happily married man to be surrounded by that. Too much temptation. Hell, I didn?t even do anything and somehow I felt guilty. Anyways, it was actually fun. Between me and the boys and some of their photography fun, it made for an interesting evening. Oh ya, one other thing that made it weird was that I kept running into people that used to be my students. I?m the teacher, they are the student, yet here we both are at a bar. Felt weird. Anyways, I got home by 2:30am and crashed around 3:30

Got up this morning, went to get my sausage and was plagued by some serious allergies today which were cured by a nice batch of Extra Strength Benedryl which man, talk about hit me hard. I drove up to Miramichi to visit with Hosford and that went pretty good as well. Carol is doing well although she is quite big and the twins are due in July. Three kids. Hosford, I hope you get that house renovated soon cuz you?re going to need it.

I enjoyed some hot wings, moose meat, and a good sausage and I headed home. Saw a real moose along the side of the road on my way home, chomping down on something interesting. Must have been his supper.

So now, I?m home, and I need to unwind. Might just go and watch some useless television or maybe just fiddle on the computer. Tamara called me while I was driving home and she seems to be doing well although she?s having a hard time keeping certain things to herself, as am I.

Monday is my last full week of work before I head to Pittsburgh. I am really excited. I?m also getting quite excited about going back to Edmonton. Something I don?t think most know is that I have always wanted to take someone with me to Edmonton because it is where I grew up. It?s like I had this whole other life that I?ve never been able to share with anyone and since life just keeps getting busier and busier, now seems to be the time to go. Tamara?s going to get to see where I went to school for the first time, parks I played in, places I saw awesome sporting events and a lot of other stuff. It?s very hard to describe how awesome it is going to be.

Plus, we?ll be in Calgary for the night so Cheez has been told to expect to hear from us so I?ll see him, and I must say that even though I said to Tamara I wouldn?t bother, I am seriously considering buying tickets to seeing a show that is playing the night we are in Calgary. According to Pollstar.com, Ministry, The Revolting Cocks, Pitbull Daycare, and Spyder Baby are all playing at one venue and tickets are $40 plus taxes and fees. Dunno if I want to see them that badly but it would make for an interesting evening I am sure.

Regardless folks, one thing is for sure. I really need to get out of these clothes. So, with that said, I?m going to go enjoy the rest of my Saturday night. Hope everyone has/had a good weekend.
