I got a nice surprise this morning. I got paid! I was not expecting to get my pay until Monday because I get paid on the 1st and 15th and the 1st is not until Monday but lucky for me, I got paid early, woo hoo! I can at least put some gas in my car since the gas light came on for the first time in ages.
So I leave for Pittsburgh tomorrow around 11:30ish. I am kind of excited and scared at the same time. I know this will be the easiest of the three shadows I do but it will still be a bit weird going to a client site for the first time. Weird stuff.
I found a cool site on the net that has a pile of Java games for cell phones and I finally got a copy of Pacman for my phone. Sweet stuff man. I also got Arkanoid and Tetris. I could use to this kind of stuff for sure.
For those of you who don’t scroll down all the way, you may not have noticed the Caca Volante update. Mike Patton’s latest project, Peeping Tom, is about to hit the shelves and he will in fact be performing on Conan Obrien later in the month of May. The fact that he’ll be on that show tells me that there must be something good on this album. You can now buy preview tunes off iTunes and the torrent can be found on the web (downloading it now). There has been a LOT of hype about this album since it’s first conception but the fact is I have been seriously disappointed by some of Patton’s projects within the last few years so I am not getting my hopes up, but hey, you never know.
Now, a certain viewer made a comment in the Scribbles about starting a pool on the baby stuff, SO sure enough, there’s a module for POstnuke for doing just that. Now, I could make everyone pay some cash for it, but I don’t think that’s necessary. So look for a new section to pop up where you can bet on the baby’s birthday and weight. If anyone has any other “pools” they’d like to start or think would be fun, let me know and I can rig one up.
For now, I gotta get my ass in gear as it is Saturday, and sausage time (as bad as that COULD sound) is approaching. Dingleberry!!!
