Well folks here it is, Thursday afternoon, I am anxiously awaiting some phone calls as all my work is caught up and I have a few minutes so I figured I?d post a little piece on here.
For starters, the chat room seems to be working ok, but I really need to get that little block cleaned up. Little ugly things like that bug me. I doubt I will really bother until vacation is done but regardless, it?s still bugging me. Blah.
I totally forgot to post the fact that I finally spoke to my dad. He is in good health, still living in the same place, and said he would give me the whole scoop on why he didn?t move here afterall. Not really sure whether I care at this point but I am glad he?s ok, and that?s more important than anything. Plus, it also means we?re staying at his place and we?ll save a little bit of cash since we won?t have to hotel it for that week. Plus, it will be nice to spend some time with dad.
Roy & Cheez will be meeting up with us. Cheez is going to meet us at the airport and Roy will be having supper with us in Edmonton on Thursday night. I did decide that I am not going to go see Ministry Saturday night but we might take in a club or something else. I imagine we?ll be extremely tired come Saturday night after having been up since 4:30am. Ick.
Thanks to the wonders that are the internet, me and Tamara will be able to do a web check in tomorrow night which means we can assign ourselves our own seats and have a little bit of a jumpstart on those who merely check in at the gate. We still have to check our bags and such but it saves a bit of time and hassle getting a seat, and we can guarantee that we?ll be sitting beside each other. That reminds me though, I need to find my adapter for my laptop so both me and Tamara can listen to a movie at the same time.
The day is going slow and I really need to get my ass in gear?
