This weekend was definitely a weekend that included a pile of different activities. Besides working around the house and keeping busy, and being lazy at the same time, me and Tamara made it to Parlee beach for a nice swim. Valerie, Darren, and Byron joined us and man, it was just what the doctor ordered. Nice weather and the water was super warm. That combined with some sun and a visit with my family (my aunt Linda is down from Ontario) made it a great day. Only one downside to the whole thing: I ended up with a nasty burn on my back. It’s my own fault but it was still good.
Sunday, I went to see Superman Returns. I will say that the movie was good and I enjoyed it although it was a little darker than previous movies, and to be blunt, I didn’t care for Kate Bosworth who played Lois Lane as I think she is WAY too damn young to play that role. Besides that, the movie was good. I am anxious to see the follow-ups.
I am very groggy this morning. It’s going to be an insane work week as I have a busy schedule to get some stuff done, and do some training as well. Nothing serious but just a lot of things to get done. With that said, I’m gonna start my day.
