Unbeknownst to me, gas stations are closing the pumps today in protest of the gas price regulations put in by the NB government. Because of that, I went to fill up this morning and get a car wash and I was approached by someone at the Esso station telling me that the pumps had been closed. I was then interviewed by this person for Rogers 91.9 News and they wanted my opinion on the whole price regulation thing which I thought would help the prices but have in fact made it worse.
I then made my way to another gas station and it was also closed. After the third time, I finally found one where the pumps were open so I put $20 in and I’ll wait to fill up so I can get my car wash.
VERY annoying!
