As the title says, today was the end of a very long week. We had a visit from Tamara’s mom. I also did something today that was a bit hard. I had to return baby stuff.
Since there was little point in keeping the video baby monitor, I took it back and got the money back which then paid for a new laptop bag. Spending money always seems to help me and I know Tamara could use a good shopping spree so maybe she’ll do her part soon enough.
We are doing a lot of nothing over the course of the weekend. We are making a point of just trying to let things soak in. Tamara is not returning to work right away but I was actually in there today. I enjoy my job and the people I work with so getting back to work will help to keep my mind off the issues.
The thing is, me and Tamara are both grieving but we’re doing it in different ways. For me, I need to try and keep busy. I might even do some work type stuff that is not really all that necessary but it is something to sort of keep the mind distracted a bit.
I’ve finally got my cousin on MSN. After having lost his email address before, I managed to get it and add it this time before I forgot. I also pointed him in the direction of Bobsroom so hopefully he’ll be visiting here from time to time.
With that said, I think I am going to do a little bit of playing with the work thing. Or something… I gotta do something.
