Well folks, yesterday afternoon I had a first. In 13 years of working in IT, I got my first “award” for good work and service yesterday. I got a gift card in thanks and appreciation for some of the work I have been doing over the last month or so. It was a surprise and I was very happy to receive it. In all of my various jobs I have had over the years, this is the first time any of my employers have gone out of their way to show some real appreciation. It felt good.
Beyond that, I have no news and I did post a lot yesterday so today’s entries might be scarce.
