I have been meaning to post this but I just kept forgetting. The parking ticket I received while at the hospital has been forgiven by the city of Moncton.
They called the house and told Tamara that they were sorry about the timing and that the ticket did not need to be paid. It also was ironic that the same day we received a letter in the mail telling us the ticket had not been paid.
Regardless, it was nice to see that in our city, there are people at city hall who care and are nice enough to forgive little things like that in the sight of tragedy.
