No camping, but fun anyway

Turns out the trip to Miramichi didn’t happen this weekend but thats ok. We had a good one anyway.

We went to a wedding on Friday night which I have to admit, didn’t mean much to me. Didn’t know anyone there (barely) but we went outnone the less and then came home, vegged, and watched some tube.

Saturday was quite a day. We went out to Magnetic Hill which Tamara had never been to. That was kind of cool but we also went and did a round at on the go-carts, went to see butterfly world, and even played a bucket of balls at the driving range. We got home, and then headed out later that night where we spent the evening with Valerie and Darren playing some poker. Lots of good fun.

Today was all about my grandmother who turned a whopping 83 years old. Still active and not going senile yet but it was nice to see her in better shape than she had been a few weeks ago. Saw some family and despite the fact that I didn’t really want to go, we went down and enjoyed the day. Lots of food is always good.

Tomorrow is back to work. Work has been going pretty good. Lots of interesting projects but a bit tiring. It’s weird when you enjoy your work so much you actually think about it when you aren’t working. I will say though I am glad that on a regular basis, I don’t have to bring my work home. It’s nice not having to worry about that.

Tamara is enjoying, sort of, her time off work. It’s nice having a maid now. She cooks, cleans, and even does other things. Best part is, I don’t have to pay her for any of it 😉 Actually, she’s been very helpful and the work she’s doing is good for her since it is somewhat distracting rather than sitting around thinking all day.

I’ve been working on my video from Hansoexposed.com and lemme tell you, the video stuff foir fans of Lost is major. I’ll be sure to put a link up for people to see when I am finally done collecting all of the video fragments. Moonie, if you still want to borrow my Lost DVD set, maybe I can drop it off to you at work sometime this week. Trust me, you’re going to want to watch the first season, and I’m working on downloading the entire second season although I know I’ll get that for Christmas on DVD. But I definitely recommend you try and download season 2. There’s a torrent link on Torrentspy.com for the entire second season so maybe watch season 1, then 2, then start on season 3 when it starts in October. This year they are running 6 new episodes then they pause til after Christmas with no new ones and no repeats but then run 16-17 episodes staright without any repeats until the end of the season. A bit of a stretch to wait for the good stuff but it will be worth it I am sure.

With that said folks, I think I am going to go and do nothing.
