Another week, but shorter

The morning begins and although it is a short week, I suspect that it will probably feel longer…

I think it’s pretty safe to say we had an uneventful weekend. Spent some time at the inlaws yesterday but all around, pretty quiet. Tamara’s had to add an ear infection to her list of ailments recently but she is managing to muddle through. I do feel somewhat powerless to help her but none the less, I try my best.

I am sort of at a lack of words to describe much of anything this morning. Partly because it is the first day back to work after 4 days, and partly because although I have my morning Coke here, I have not cracked it open yet, and I suspect that I may need to see a man about a horse before I start anything.

As weird as it seems, it is in fact September. I can’t believe the time has gone by this fast. Where the hell did the summer go? Before you know it, the snow will be here and I’ll be bitvhing about having to shovel the driveway, but at least we’ll have fire in the basement. Mmmmmmm. Warmth is good.

I did finally breakdown and buy some more Columbian Sharks for the fish tank. After having such bad luck with them after Apollo died, I had sworn off them. Tamara had also stopped buying them because she told me she wouldn’t so this weekend, I picked up 3 more and so far, they seem to be ok. We also did a major cleaning of the tanks so maybe by next weekend, we can move the sharks into the big tank. Maybe we’ll have better luck this time.

Chris, I downloaded Ubuntu but I have not installed it yet. That is on my list of things to do this week.

With that said, I’m off to save the world again!
