Yes folks. It is that time of year again. Once again me and the wife will be putting on our annual Halloween party. I think it is safe to say that it won’t be anywhere near as big as the wedding reception was last year, but it is going to be a hoot.
If you are reading this message, and will be in Moncton on the 21st of October, you and a guest are welcome to attend.
This year, we are doing something a little different than we have in previous years. This year’s party will be a theme. The 80’s. That’s right folks. It’s time to dig out your fluorescent pink shirts, mullet clothes, tight jeans, and bigass porno hair, cuz the 1980’s will be back for one night here at the Klem household. If you don’t have any 80’s clothes, that’s ok, just don’t comb your hair when you get up that morning and you’ll be all set!
As always, costumes are optional but I guarantee that it’s a lot more fun seeing people all dressed up and God knows it will be funny to see me with my mullet hair again. But, should you choose to come just as yourself, you’ll be just as welcome.
There will be plenty of food for our guests so please do not feel the need to bring anything other than yourselves and guest, and whatever beverage you wish to consume. We will have pop and juice if you don’t drink. As always, try and make sure you have a designated driver if you intend to consume alcohol, and if you need a place to crash, we have lots of floor space.
There will also be games available for people to play. The arcade machine will be up and running, along with the air hockey table, as well as some poker and blackjack games going on. There will definitely be something for everyone so don’t say you can’t come because you’ll have nothing to do.
The party starts at 7:00pm and goes until people decide they’ve had enough of the cheesy 80’s music or the jeans are just too tight after 5 hours.
Please try and respond to me to let me know if you and your guest will be attending. We would like to have a good idea of how many people will be there by the 16th of October so we know how much food/drink we’ll need. If you have a friend or someone else that you would like to invite, please feel free to do so but make sure you let me or Tamara know so we can add that person(s) to our headcount. I will be posting a reminder message on here the week before the party just as a reminder. I already know that some of you can’t make it because of prior commitments, or because you live too damn far away but I wanted to include as many people as I could just in case the off chance happens that you can make it. I also know that I haven’t seen some of you in awhile so this is a perfect time for you to visit and catch up. What better time to see friends than at a party right?
