My first night with Rogers TV

Posted by on September 27, 2006

Last night I spent an hour doing camera work for Rogers television for the very first time. I gotta say, it was actually more fun than I expected and I do intend to return next week. There is however a huge piece of irony involved in this. I arrived on set last night to find out that the show I am working on is for the French Rogers station and would be entirely in French. At first, I thought after I was done that I would not be coming back but oddly enough the language thing didn’t matter. You spend way more time focusing on the instructions from the director, which are in English, that watching the show. It was a lot of fun and I will be back for more.

I also got my official work cell phone yesterday. Not the fanciest phone but where it is a Rogers phone, my plan is to simply swap the SIM cards and use my own phone when I travel. I’ll do a test of that this weekend.

I dug out some more info with regards to my trip to Atlanta. Turns out there is a Six Flags amusement park about 10 minutes from my hotel. I am on the fence as to whether I will be going or not as I know Tamara REALLY wanted to go to the one in New England and it was supposed to be a trip for both of us. I’ll have to see what else there is to do in Atlanta.

Now that the photo frame is done, I am looking for another project to try and take on. I really enjoyed working on it so I may have to find something else kind of like that for me to tinker at.

With that said, I must read my morning news and then start the day. I hope everyone has a good one!
