Well folks, with Halloween officially over, I switched the theme back to the normal. Another Halloween gone by. Seems like time is going by pretty damn quick.
Things in my world have been busy and yet it seems like there’s nothing going on at the same time. With having had to travel so much in the last month, the time is going by faster. I’ve got two more trips coming up in the next month and I suspect that will make November go by even faster. I can’t believe Christmas is coming so quick.
I booked my vacation time for Christmas and am hoping for it to come back approved. If all goes well I will have a full two weeks off during the holidays. Something I desperately need with all of this work and no long break times. Being on the road is sort of a break from the day to day stuff but not quite the same.
I have done some, but not all of my Christmas shopping. I am doing my best to keep the stuff to a minimum. I don’t want to spend a pile of cash on junk and want to try and keep the gifts unique, and meaningful. Christmas isn’t about that anyway but God knows I like unwrapping stuff under the tree. 🙂 Who doesn’t?
Tamara is heading back to work soon. You’ll have to get the full scoop from her but she heads back to UPS shortly and it looks like she may be going back to something other than reception. We’ll have to see how that goes.
Tamara is also gone this weekend on one of her retreats. I have Friday off and she leaves that morning so I guess I will have the weekend to myself. I see that Alex and Brian are playing at Storm’s on Saturday so maybe I’ll wander down there. We’ll see.
I had this super weird dream about Lost last night. Very weird. Clones and boats, and weird islands and all kinds of funky stuff. Very weird. More weird than the show is. Hard to imagine.
But, with that said, I do have a day to start and my computer is already starting to irritate me so I better get this bitch working and start my day.
