Drove all the way down to Halifax today just to get enrolled in the Canpass thing. Kinda cool. They took my picture and then took 4 pictures of each of my eyes and then showed me how to use the kiosk at the various airports. Very neat. What’s it all for? Well, it lets me skip the whole immigration process when I return to Canada from my trips. I just go to the machine, have it take a photo of my eye to confirm my identity, answer 2 questions and I’m on my way. No lineups.
Speaking of my travel, my trip to Providence next week got bumped, again. No surprise there. Seems to be a reoccurring theme with this particular client. Oh well, not a big deal. Just means I get to be home a bit longer before heading on the road again which of course is nice.
In other travel news, I have decided that the Air Canada Aeroplan website pisses me off. I have tried countless times in the last week to try and get my balance on my card but got nothing. I finally called and got their automated service which at least gave me the balance. I wanted to know a little bit more so I could try and see what I need for Elite status, but I found that info finally. Blah, I hate websites that piss me off.
