A day of surgery

Posted by on January 21, 2007

So folks, today is a day of surgery here in the Klem household. Today I will be performing an organ transplant. It is a very simple operation and if all goes well, both patients should come out of it fine. One of the patients has an extra organ that the other patient could really use. The transplantee’s original organ will actually be removed and sold off to a friend for a small price. This will greatly help both the friend, and the transplantee.

What the hell am I talking about? I’m taking a hard drive out of Tamara’s computer and putting it into mine to replace my old one, whom Ben will receive for a nominal price. Since we bought the network drive, Tamara’s 300GB drive is now gathering dust so I figured I’d put that one in mine, and take the 120GB out. Ben only has a 40GB on his system so the 120GB will be a nice addition.

POKER NIGHT IS CONFIRMED AND STILL ON!

It looks like we are going to have about 8 people assuming all whom said they would come will be there. I am really looking forward to it and hopefully maybe some other people will also show up and perhaps the curse of the canceled poker nights will be on its way.

So, with that said, I must prepare for surgery. If all goes well, I’ll be posting from my computer post-op. Have a good day!
