Well folks, I am shocked.
I installed the new 300GB drive to my machine, and restored the backup of my old system to my new drive and it worked. No blue screens, no major issues. Had a bit of a hiccup with Norton but it seems to have corrected itself. I am actually amazed that the backup/restore process of Windows backup worked THAT well. Wow. Something Microsoft did right.
What does this mean for me? It means that I have gone from 120GB of space for my system drives to 300GB of space. Where I was starting to get low, it is nice to have a little bit more breathing room. Woo hoo!
So Ben, the old drive is yours.
Now, if I could just get rid of that pesky debt I have I’d be all set 😉
