With everything that has been going on with J.C., I didn’t get a chance to mention some good news that happened this week.
On Monday I got called into my bosses office (which can be a bit worry-some) and told that I had been awarded a special award. We have a sort of bronze, silver, and gold type of awards for staff. A lot of awards were given out but I received a Silver award and had my name mentioned in a special meeting for my department, as well as grouped together with the other winners during an allstaff meeting. I’m supposed to get some sort of memento regarding the award soon (it’s a new program) and there’s a monetary portion to the award as well.
The whole thing seemed pretty minor in comparison to what has been going on this week but it is at least something good.
