It is nice to only have a 3 day work week. I wish I had it more often, but still got paid the same amount as I usually do.
Today was VERY busy. We had a bunch of appointments (me and the wife) and we got some other stuff taken care of in the process. I was looking at doing a computer upgrade but the cost is just too much and I can think of better things to spend our money on.
My trip to Phoenix has been postponed/cancelled. I won’t know until I get back tomorrow whether I am still going or not. I hope I am but if not, that’s ok. There will be other trips.
Discovered that when I get home from a trip, I get a bit cranky for a day or so. Has a lot to do with hearing all of these different things that are going on all at once. A lot to handle. I think I am going to find a way to sort of creep back into normality when I get home from trips. Sort of avoid people or certain things so I don’t end up being so bitchy. God knows it drives Tamara a little batty.
If you are a fan of Tormented, you might want to check out this post on Monctonlocals as Gary will be featured in an upcoming wrestling show at the Oxygen club. If my trip to Phoenix happens, I will not be able to attend but I think it would be cool to go. There are rumours surfacing about a possible Tormented show but not a reunion, just some sort of promo thing. Don’t know much more than that.
I know I have not been up on my posts lately. Things have been super busy with all the travel and work stuff. I’m glad to see people are still popping on but I do see that the scribbles have been pretty quiet in recent weeks. Looks like people are finding things to do eh? That’s ok. I don’t even have any decent videos to post tonite. Blah. Oh well.
Anyone been watching Lost lately? I read recently that we’re going to start seeing major questions answered in every episode until the end of the season. Big stuff coming. In fact, tomorrow night looks like we’ll learn some more stuff about the others and I have read that a flashback is coming about the island and when Dharma arrived there. Things just keep getting better and better.
Speaking of TV, those of you who watch South Park should get a kick out of this. There was a recent episode which was all about a nuclear bomb that had been hidden inside of Hilary Clinton’s snatch. It was called a “snuke”. Well, the whole episode played out like an episode of 24 (a show I don’t watch) and apparently the producers of 24 must have gotten a good kick out of the episode as they sent South Park Studios a snuke of their own. Check out the link above for shots of it. Very cool to see how one show can take a joke and laugh about it. More than I can say for Tom Cruise.
One last, somewhat raunchy question for everyone here. Do you find that other people’s farts smell worse than yours? Even your worst fart still somehow smells better than other peoples. Anyone else find it like that?
