Wow. Where did the week go? I can’t believe that Friday has finally hit here and that by this time tomorrow, I’ll be much closer to home and I will be home by 9ish. Wow. I can’t believe the week went by that quick.
Phoenix has been nice. I did not get a chance to go too far in this city but I did manage to roam around and see a pile of things. I am hoping that when I get home, my pictures will turn out ok and I can post some. I took so many damn photos of palm trees for Tamara she should have enough to last quite awhile.
I got some news from work today. We have been given new work hours for the summer. We now have the option of working an extra hour per day in order to get the afternoon off on that Friday. You can only do it 5 times within the summer, and it ends at the end of August but I like the idea. I would much rather come in a bit early, stay a bit late, and get my extra time in so I can have a Friday afternoon off. Hell, I’d be willing to work 2 extra hours every day just so I could always have Friday off. That would be cool.
The only thing that sucks about coming home tomorrow is the fact that it will likely take me a few days to get my head wrapped around the whole Atlantic time zone thing. This being 4 hours behind Moncton is hard on the head. I’m glad I won’t be coming back out here for at least a little while. Having to go back and forth through time zones like that would be VERY rough on the system.
Well, since I took a few minutes during my workday to post, I really should get back to work. I hope to see you folks real soon.
