Lost spoiler dilemma

For those of you who do watch Lost, you may or may not have heard of DarkUFO’s Lost Site. He’s got a pile of stuff on there and I have added it to my list of sites that I keep an eye on.

Today, I was checking out his Spoilers section and he’s got a MAJOR entry about tomorrow’s episode and the finale. Talk about hard to NOT read it.

Throughout the season I have been torn about reading the spoilers as I have had both good and bad experiences from them. It’s nice knowing what is going to happen but there are situations when being surprised is a good part of watching the show.

For example, I read in a spoiler about Naomi was going to tell Hurley about having found the plane and the passengers were all dead. When I saw the episode, I knew that was coming so it wasn’t much of a surprise and I found that sort of ruined the ending of that episode for me. I mean, it’s still HUGE but having known it before the show aired did in fact “spoil” the surprise.

Knowing that the end of this season is going to have some major deaths and apparently some HUGE twists that no one ever saw coming (on top of what’s already going on), it’s hard not to read about what will happen, but I am doing my best to NOT read that spoiler stuff because I really do want the finale to be a surprise and worth the watch.

With that said, for some non-spoiler related material, I definitely enjoy checking out DarkUFO’s Lost Easter Egg site which has a lot of screenshots and some things that sometimes get missed in the show. I tell ya, his site is pretty freaking sweet.
