For those of you who don’t recognize this photo or what it is of, this is a shot of the infamous “Quick Stop” used in Kevin Smith’s movies, made famous by the two characters Jay & Silent Bob. For both Clerks, and Clerks II, this store was used to shoot a lot of footage used. In fact, most of the original Clerks movie was shot at this location.
Seeing as I had such a shitty Tuesday night, yesterday I took a drive and found it. Took a little longer to find than I would have liked, but I made it there, and I went in, bought a bottle of Coke, and came outside and snapped this photo. What I didn’t realize about this famous building is the fact that to the right of it, is some kind of bar/restaurant that we don’t see in the movies. It was definitely cool to be able to go there and see this thing for myself seeing as I am a fan of Kevin’s work.
Now, thankfully, I return home tomorrow. Wish I was leaving tonite, but believe you me, tomorrow will do just fine.
