After having such a crappy week, I am finally back home and am really glad to be here. Yesterday was a nice combination of family and friends.
After having argued with the back porch for awhile, me and Tamara took a drive out to Shediac to visit mom and Tiny on Father’s Day. All was well out there and he in fact is surprising the doctors in how well he is doing. The man is remarkable.
Came back into town, had some supper, and then I headed out to the movies with Ben to go see Fantastic Four II. I had no intentions of going but Ben wanted to see it and I figured it would be a nice little outing, plus any excuse to see Jessica Alba is good in my book right gentlemen? 😉
I also had a nice long talk with my boss today about my crappy week and after having some good conversation, I am feeling MUCH better about things and it looks like all will be well in my world once again. I am going to be that week behind me and just move on.
In other news, since we only have the one vehicle, I have been working quite hard to try and pay off my credit card and as of the middle of July, that debt will be long gone. Just in time for me to rack it up again with stuff for the baby 😉 Ok, maybe not rack it up, but we do have some things that we need to get. Crib, car seat, etc. Won’t be too bad I’m sure.
I caught a video that Moonie posted to Facebook regarding the crashing of OCeanic flight 815 (Lost) and man, very nicely put together. Nice catch Moonie. Kinda cool to see a complete perspective of that crash. Too bad I have to wait until my birthday before the Season 3 DVD set comes out. Hopefully it’ll be packed with some goodies to enjoy. 🙂
