I’m back to work today and the first day back after a trip or vacation is always a slow one as you are trying to get ramped back up on a few things. However, tomorrow is probably going to be somewhat dead seeing as it will be the 4th of July down south and no one will be around to answer questions/do work.
With that said, I have been busy getting prepared for my travels in the next few weeks. Between now and August 15th, I have 5 trips on the calendar.
Next week, I am off to Chicago, Illinois. I have been to this city before but never had the opportunity to do anything there (just drove through during my North American Tour. The week after that, I head to Bathurst on Monday for J.C.’s burial, and then Tuesday I fly off to Austin Texas for the rest of the week. It’s going to be hot there for sure.
I get back on Saturday and am home for a week. I then fly out to Columbia, South Carolina for 4 days. I return on Thursday and leave Sunday for Seattle, Washington where I’ll be for 4 days, get home Thursday, and then leave on Sunday again for Columbia, South Carolina.
That’s a hell of a lot of travelling in the next few weeks. In fact, of the 35 days between this Sunday and the end of my travelling, 26 of those are days where I am on the road. That’s a LOT of travel. Hopefully I’ll be able to hit Elite status before the end of the year insuring me some decent seats and free access to the lounges. I am pretty sure I should be able to hit it before winter comes which is nice because that’s when it will be the most beneficial.
