The perils of sore feet

Posted by on October 16, 2007

Let me tell you, as much as I love my job, there are some things that it gives me that I can’t stand. Sore feet is one of those. Standing on them all day teaching a class is fine, until you sit down and realize how sore your feet really are. Man, talk about nasty today but the first day of training is always the worst. Tomorrow will be way better.

I read an article in the Times Transcript today which if you saw it, it may have surprised you, but I can say for certain that the paper got its facts WAY off. I don’t know who the hell their source is, but they really need to do some better research. The line reads “Unconfirmed reports said as many as 40 people may be laid off at the Moncton office, which had just under 100 employees when …” I can tell you most definitely that the number from our office was DEFINITELY lower than that, by at least half. They really should not release bogus facts like that when they are unconfirmed. It makes it sound like the cut the staff almost in half which realistically is nowhere even near accurate.

Took some cool pictures tonite while out and about with my colleague here in Seattle. Kinda nice having a travel companion. Also had some badass salmon which rivals Moncton but it will be nice to get home soon.

Now, time to go relax and rest my feet.
