Well folks, let’s see here. I made it back from Seattle on Friday night and man was I beat. After having to catch up some sleep and adjust back to Moncton time, I also had to assist in getting the house ready for the party that would follow on Saturday. Let me tell you, the last thing I was in the mood for was a party. After having a week like I did, I was not interested in seeing anyone. However, I prevailed and made it and enjoyed the party none the less.
We had a good crowd. Not a lot of people but enough that it wasn’t awkward like parties with 2 people could be. I did however kick myself for not snapping pictures of Eric and Darren in costume so the only photos we have are of me and Tamara and little Dylan in costume. That sucks. I may have to go see Darren and ask him to put the costume on just so I can snap a picture and if Eric is in fact having a party this weekend, maybe I’ll show up just to snap a photo of him. Nice outfit btw, although I think Darren’s Soundwave Transformers costume was the winner. Me and Tamara were dressed as…. babies. Diapers, soothers, and even bottles to match. Quite funny.
Yesterday was indeed quite lazy as I woke up, went with Tamara to pick up Dylan (who spent the night with mom) and then came home and went back to bed. I think I slept til like 4pm. We also went down to the park with Dave & Mel, snapped a few photos. We also took a drive through the Turtle Creek area which had some nice scenery but most of the leaves had already fallen. Sucky.
Last night was a night of vegging out and catching up on some TV. Today I am back at work and on my way to Blue Bell, PA this afternoon. This trip however is only for one day so I’ll be back on Wednesday morning. I’m kind of looking forward to that comfy bed in the TO airport. Man, those beds are SWEET!
Oh ya! I also got to use my Nexus pass this past week for the first time. Let me tell you, it was freaking sweet! No more customs asking me stupid questions just to be a bunch of pricks. It is nice just trucking on through. Now today I’ll find out how it works at the Toronto airport. Hopefully it will be as smooth as it was in Calgary.
That having been said, I really have a few things I need to get done so I better get off my ass and do them before my time runs out. I haven’t had a chance to copy the pictures off my camera so as soon as I do, I’ll post some more Seattle photos. I have more stuff to share. Until then, toodles!
