Cripes what a week

Posted by on February 22, 2008

Let me tell you folks, if there was ever a time I was glad to be home, it’s right now.

I won’t say that I had the shittiest week ever, but it definitely rivals some of my worst weeks on the road yet. It’s very hard to get into details without crossing “that line” but let’s just say that I am not eager to return to Atlanta. Hopefully this will be the last time.

It was a hard week more emotionally than anything as I really missed the family this week as work related things sort of made me want to be closer to home, and somewhat more comfortable. It was real nice to walk into my office today with familiar faces and good talk and then the day was topped off by seeing my little boy in the back of the car with a big smile to see his dad. Let me tell you, I am glad it’s Friday.

This weekend will be one for me and Tamara. We’re going out to Saigon Thai tomorrow night and hopefully will enjoy the food. The place comes highly recommended by one of my co-workers so hopefully we’ll enjoy the food. If time permits, we may go see Brian & Alex at Doc’s since it is just a few blocks away from where we will be, but I ‘spose we’ll be eating way early compared to when they go on. We’ll see.

I have had no time to even think about the new layout of the website. I’m kinda of the opinion that it will get done when it gets done. My visitors are limited and I suspect it’s the posts and scribbles, not the layout of the site that people care about, right?

That having been said, I think I’ll go watch Star Trek, wait for Tamara & D to get home, and then watch last night’s episode of Lost since I missed it enroute to Moncton.
