Last night, I was trying to do a little web work, and as usual, things were horridly slow on my site and I finally said enough was enough. Once again, I have switched web hosts. I will be moving Bobsroom tonite and there should be no interruption of service in the meantime.
Regardless, as I am moving my other sites to my new host, I check my email and lo and behold, there’s yet ANOTHER message from my old host asking me to renew my hosting. After having told them FOUR TIMES that the billing has already been taken care of and that they have issued me receipts for my payments, they still somehow think I owe them money. Somehow they don’t seem to understand that once they take your money and provide a receipt, you don’t have to pay them again UNTIL THE BILL IS DUE!!!
I have therefore cancelled my subscription payment through Paypal and will move my stuff tonite. I am so sick and tired of dealing with those people that it is definitely time for a new host. I have moved my sites a few times since I started them and it can be a hassle, but I am kind of tired of dealing with crap service.
Aside from that, the weekend was pretty good. Did some swimming, went for a drive, hunt out with family, all was good.
