So according to the wife, the GE repair guy says that our loads are too big. *snicker* That’s what SHE said!
Apparently our drainage issue we had is because the drain pipes were filled with, well, useless junk. Dirt, lint, memory cards, bathing caps, dead cats, bull semen, you get the idea. A pile of junk. So with that said, it looks like we’ll need to make our loads smaller. *still snickering*
On the other side of the fence is the fact that I am now looking for another car. Me and Tamara have decided that it would be best if we got a second vehicle that I can use mainly for going to and from work. You might ask me why I didn’t just keep my Honda that I returned after the lease was up. Well, fact is, to buy it out would have been more cash that I really should not be spending, and let’s face it, at that time, I was travelling a LOT so the car was literally just sitting in the driveway doing nothing. I am not sorry I gave the car back but am now looking for something else.
I am REALLY interested in finding something SMALL. Like, SmartCar small if I could but those are too expensive. Aveo, Echo hatchback, that kind of thing. Some kind of small vehicle that has all the fixtures & features I like but tiny enough to zip around town. If anyone knows of any decent SMALL cars, let me know. I would prefer not to have anything older than a 2000 model.
Again it rises from the dead. My carpal tunnel has returned and this time, it hurts like a mofo. I have taken to switching my mouse from my right hand to my left for now to see if it helps. The last time I did this it really helped and once I moved it back the pain did not return for quite some time. Let me tell you though, right now my hand and my fingers are not feeling too damn good. Frig sakes. It would be easier if it was my left hand but alas, it is my right. DOH!
Tonite I am off to my first geocaching “event”. Tonite is all about GSAK, the Geocaching Swiss Army Knife. It’s a computer app which is supposed to help organize your caches a bit better. I had heard of it before but didn’t know anything about it so it is a good time to learn some more about it, and meet some fellow cachers. I hit my 130 find mark today. I found my first “mystery” cache which was also the first cache I ever found inside a building. Normally that is not allowed but this was a really awesome cache.
Picture this. You are standing outside the Blue Cross building downtown in the parking lot near where Burger King used to be. The name of the cache is “910.285 MI” and that’s all they give you. They say to look around think about your surroundings. That’s all you need to find the cache. I went looking for this one twice before and failed both times. However today, I got it and I gotta say that it was super cool. If you actually care, I put the details in the read more section.
On that note, I think I’ll finish this off and get back to work. FUN!
910.285 MI. What else is near the Blue Cross building? The public library. If you use 910.285 MI as the Dewey decimal code, you’ll find a book in the library which is nothing more than the log book for a cache. LOTS of entries in there. Totally awesome.
