On the way to work this morning, I saw what was definitely the first real sign of spring. I saw my first roadkill. Indeed spring is here if the animals carcasses are starting.
Weekend was pretty full. Saturday me, Tamara, and Dylan all headed over to moms as my step-sisters were coming over to pillage the rest of my step-fathers stuff and mom didn’t feel like dealing with them on her own. That actually didn’t take too long at all. We then headed home and went to the mode railway show over in Riverview. It was kind of neat but I gotta tell you, we spent $10 to get in there and probably didn’t even stay for more than 30 minutes. I wanted to see more trains moving on the track, instead of a bunch of old guys tinkering with their trains. But, it was still neat to see and me and Tamara have talked about going every year since we moved into that area. Now we know what it’s all about.
We also headed over to the lifestyle show at the coliseum. Some neat stuff there. It seemed like pools & spas were the big thing this year as they were everywhere. We even bought these weird sawdust/presswood logs for the wood stove. Very weird things that supposedly burn quite hot. Seemed to help heat the house up yesterday.
Lastly, I decided I wanted to do the trail off Niagara road for 6 geocaches. Well, it was a lot more involved that I was prepared for that morning but I snagged all six caches and made it home in one piece. I’m not even sore this morning.
Now it’s just a matter of putting my day in. I should go start that…
