The feast was good

Well yesterday we had our yearly tradition of going down to the cottage on the long weekend and opening up the cottages, and pigging out on lobster, steak, and scallops. Let me tell you, it was mighty fine.

I bought myself a nice badass t-bone steak (Mike referred to it as half a cow) and 2 pounds of scallops. I didn’t eat all of the scallops but I shared plenty with the family.

It was nice to see everyone again and my cousin Darcy finally got to meet Dylan. Everyone seemed to be doing good so it was a great way to kick off the good weather. Unfortunately, there was no good weather yesterday. It rained and rained. Oh well. We hadn’t had bad weather and our feast in a long time so I suppose we were due.

I’m on the road again this week. Off to Lancaster, South Carolina. VERY small place. Should make it for either a very interesting trip, or very boring. Not sure yet. Have to wait and see.

I also hooked up my new computer today and let me tell you, it sure seems to be working well. The thing is huge but man is it quiet. It is weird not hearing a dozen fans blaring in my ear anymore. Now I just need to find a few things to put this thing through it’s paces.
