Folks, I’m still hurting. On Saturday morning, I took my first stab at the caches on the Dobson trail. This trail has dozens of caches. More like hundreds I am guessing. IN my 5 hours of hiking, I covered 13.5KM and snagged 37 caches. A personal best on my own. I got home, and I was tired, sore, but very proud to have covered that much territory on my own.
The image above is an area map of where I was. The bluish dotted line shows the path or track I made as I was travelling. The GPS marks your spot every 20M or so that way you can find your way back if you get lost. The start point was the trailhead on Pine Glen road and the end was way on the other side very near to the trailhead down near Sandy Cliffs or something. Can’t remember the exact name. But it was quite a haul. Yesterday I was hurting bad but today is a bit better but I’m still feeling it. But, thanks to Tamara’s help, yesterday I broke 500 finds which was awesome since it was one of the coolest adventure caches I have done yet which made me hit my milestone. Very cool. Now I must go work. Have fun today folks!
