Last night around 10:30ish I got a call from dad with his latest news. He’s still hell bent on moving down here and he’s got his eye surgery scheduled for the 15th of September and hopes that within days of that he’ll be able to start making arrangements to head on down. He’s looking at doing his best to try and be here before the winter hits. I think that’s a good idea since he’s never experienced a maritime winter. Not as cold but hella snow.
I’m feeling better than he called and at least I know the latest. Now I can wait another few months and bitch more about it 😉
In other news, I heard the new AC/DC tune from their upcoming album. That link brings you to their MySpace page which auto-plays the new tune. They are a band that has not changed a bit and they sound great. Here’s to hoping that maybe they can make an appearance at Magentic Hill next year. Even if they don’t, I think I may have to find somewhere I can go to see them. They are a classic band from my era and I think I should probably do my best to see them live as I suspect that their retirement will not be that far away. But, who knows.
