Chicago was a bust

Maybe it was me, or maybe it was just the city, but I did not have a very good few days in Chicago.

For starters, I had muchos delays getting there, and then even getting to my hotel was a pain since the subway was under construction. I was not able to use my GPS for much because of so many tall buildings so caching was sort of a bust. I did manage to get a few in, but not many. Caching in large cities is not a good idea or at least not with my GPS.

The training I did was ok. Not my best sessions and not my worst. Just one of those weeks. Plus, because of the frakkin hospital stay I had down in the USA last year, I spent 2 of my lunch hours this week on the phone arguing with a credit collector who insists that I owe Mercy Suburban Hospital $539 for which I have never even seen a bill. That ultimately meant that for two of my three full days, I only got to eat one crummy meal. It did not make for a happy Matthew.

Then today, my flight home was a bust as well as it took 3 different airplanes to get me home. The first one didn’t make it off the gat5e because of computer problems. The second one got to the runway and then had computer problems. The third one finally got me home, 4 hours late. I was some happy to finally get home.

All that being said, I do have a few photos to share. These are on Facebook as well. I did laugh at the “bath robes” they had available for purchase. I mean, seriously?
