Yes folks, I caved to the hype and am happy I did it.
My own Razr phone finally saw the last minutes of life when I called Tamara from it when I went out for a hike on the Dobson. After that hike, the phone became uselss as it became WAY too water soaked to dry out. It effectively cooked the sim card and the phone itself. So, in the meantime, I have been using my work phone for personal use when I needed it. Since I barely ever use my phone, it didn’t seem to be an issue.
Well, then because of the changes at work, we were changing our phones at work and I was going to lose the one I had and would need to replace it. Since the iPhone is pretty decent, and it does a lot more than just a phone, I figured I’d go ahead and get one. Well, let me tell you, so far, it has been great.
I am very happy with the device but am trying to learn how to use all of the various features with it. Since I’ve never used an iPod before, I’m having to learn how to use iTunes with my music so I can have music on my phone.
Regardless, very cool technology. I’ll have more details as I learn more about it.
