Me and Tamara are both in the market for a small external hard drive to be used for backup purposes. Looking on Costco’s website, I saw this link for a Western Digital Passport drive for $99.99. It’s 250GBs which is plenty of space for backup data. It got me to thinking back a little bit.
When I got my very first Visa card back in the 90’s sometime, the first thing I did was buy myself a new 6GB hard drive for my computer. I was sure I would NEVER be able to fill that thing and at the time, I didn’t. I did however have to pay the $450 off my Visa card. That’s right. It cost me $450 for a 6GB drive.
And now you can buy 250GB EXTERNAL drives for $100. We’ve come a long ways.
