One of my Facebook friends did a note like this so I did one and posted it on FB as well. Figured I’d put it here too:
1. I was born in Edmonton but moved to Moncton when I was 11
2. I once drove to New York City for coffee even though I don’t drink coffee
3. I lived in Poughkeepsie, NY for a year but when I tell people I tell them I lived in New York because it sounds cooler
4. I am afraid of bees, wasps, and hornets. Any of those nasty stinging insects bug me.
5. Instead of getting drunk, I celebrated my 19th birthday by going to Tim Horton’s wearing a bathrobe, a bigass afro wig, and giant moose slippers with a bunch of friends.
6. I once won a “Most Original Dance” contest for flailing myself around on the dance floor like a fish out of water.
7. I met my wife in high school but we didn’t start dating until 2003.
8. I was once described as charming, witty, funny, and psychotic. Thanks Trish!
9. Me and two of my friends actually came up with the idea of an onscreen keyboard and animated mouse pointers long before Microsoft did it.
10. I started using computers when I was about 6 or 7. I actually still have the one I used the very first time.
11. I suffer from hypothyroidism and have to take medication for the rest of my life as a result of it.
12. I’ve never had whipped cream and I refuse to try it.
13. My very first date was with a girl I still talk to. We watched the movie “Joysticks” with her cousin.
14. I’ve always hated the fact that I was always “the nice guy”.
15. I am extremely intimidated by women, particularly those who are tall and exceptionally beautiful (except for my wife of course).
16. I have wanted to visit the pyramids of Egypt since I was in the 6th grade and had to do a history report on them.
17. I do believe in a higher power but I do not think it falls into what people typically consider religion or God.
18. Watching sci-fi movies will depress me on many occasions despite the fact that I love sci-fi.
19. I never wanted to have kids until I realized how much I loved my wife.
20. I got fired from my first job.
21. I graduated high school with my mom. We made the front page of the paper back in 1991.
22. I truly believe that in many ways, pure thought can influence your own life and your surroundings.
23. I was terrified of turning into my dad when I found out I would also be a father.
24. I once went skydiving because I was told I was all talk and no action.
25. I often feel like something is missing in my life but I have yet to find out what it is.
