Wow, talk about a pile of snow within the last few days.
Yesterday, I woke up to find my driveway completely covered, and my street was not even plowed. Normally my street is plowed right away but there was no signs of any plows anywhere.
I got a message from work telling me that the office was closed until the weather improved and more or less told to stay home unless you have to come in. Finally by around noonish or so, the plow went by and I took the time to go out, and clean out my driveway. Talk about a lot of snow.
I finally stroll into work 6.5 hours late (ya I went in even though I could have stayed home but it’s hard to explain why I felt the need to go in), got some stuff accomplished, then came home.
I get up this morning around 6ish and take a peek outside and the road looks fine, and my driveway is fine so I can just pull out and go to work. I lay back down to sleep and get up around 7ish only to find that the plow has now gone by again and my exit to the street blocked by MORE damn snow. Another 30 minutes later, my car is ready to go and I’m on my way.
Let me tell you, I will be glad when spring comes!
