I am thinking that 2009 is the year for me to be sick. So far this year, I have missed more time at work for legit sickness than I have for the entire time I have worked there.
Last time was not all that long ago and I could barely get out of bed. Well, here we are again. Yesterday saw another shot of the flu/cold hitting me and man is it ever taking a toll on my poor body. I ache everywhere and my head is a mess.
I managed to haul my ass into work today only to pack my stuff up and come home to work from my bed. Thankfully, I can lay in my bed, and still get work done but let me tell you, I hate this being sick crap.
It was even worse this time since I had major client stuff for work going on yesterday and I had to bail because of being sick. I hate not being able to finish what I start. But, this is how it is and I can’t do anything about it right?
So for the rest of today I’ll be sitting under my blankets with the heat cranked up and the electric blanket set on high and hope that when I wake up tomorrow, the worst is over.
