As the headline implies, I have not been writing a whole lot here on Bobsroom. It’s been a slow period and I have not been in the mood to do much writing. I was sick again for a few days, coupled with things just being busy, and tired, and on top of that I usually post in the mornings from my work machine but since I have had computer difficulties for a few days, it has made it harder.
So, news? Well, today I did an actual check of how much it would cost me to fly to the UK to see FNM play live and the total flight costs comes in around $450. All things considered, that’s not really that bad. I still haven’t decided if I actually want to proceed with it but it is sticking in the back of my mind an awful lot. I’m thinking I need to make a definitive decision before the end of the month to guarantee I can get a good seat on a plane. The biggest debate is whether or not I should be going when at that time, I’ll be on unemploment so the money won’t be flowing as well. I could probably save a little cash now so… I really do need to mull it over some more.
I finally have my Whereigo geocache submitted for review. I had the chance to test out the last part of it but couldn’t find a good spot to hide the actual cache so that took a little work and when I finally did, I entered the coords into the GPS wrong so I had to go back to the hiding spot and re-mark the coords. Man, remind me to stay away from that area during the winter. Not a fun walk.
57 days before I go on my parental leave. I have to say that I am really looking forward to having the time off. It will be a nice break.
Now, if only my hair would stop itching, I’d be fine!
