I am sure glad that this week and next week are short weeks for me. I managed to secure a couple of vacation days so I have a nice 5 day weekend coming up. That means that the two weeks before I head out on the road for work will both be short. This I like.
Weekend was pretty busy. Took Dylan over to mom’s while me and Tamara cleaned out the garage. We threw out a lot of junk and moved a lot of stuff. Tomorrow is the first official day of house renos so we needed that place cleaned out. Looks like the garage door and that part of the garage will be the first thing to go so we had to make sure there was room enough for the renovators to do their work. Got a pile of stuff done and am glad to see that the construction of our two new offices will begin tomorrow.
Also went out to a Geeks on Ice hockey game that saw T4G play against Oracle. Had to go to this game as many former Whitehill folks are now at T4G. Was nice to see the boys playing.
Yesterday, I did some caching in the area and finally had more luck finding a bunch. Got a few that I had been eyeing for awhile and managed to take a walk down memory lane as I stood beside Wheeler Blvd on what used to be the part of West Lane that connected to Crowley Farm Rd. Man I’ve lived in this city awhile.
Me and super D had supper at A&W and that concluded my day. I did however manage to somehow either get an eye infection or pinkeye. My right eye is somewhat blurry, puffed out, red, and watery. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to a clinic today to have someone look at it and prescribe me some drops. It’s hard working on a computer when you’re eyes are sore.
HUGE condolences out to Cheez and his family. Cheez’s dad passed away this weekend so my heart goes out to him. If you need anything man, you let me know.
