Having been off the last week has been very nice. I have gotten used to not having to get up and go into work in the morning. I have however been feeling the need to get stuff done and let me tell you, sometimes that feeling sucks.
The renos are coming along not too badly. I’ve managed to get my room painted and Tamara is currently working on hers. I’m hoping all will be done on the rooms before the end of the month. Here is to hoping.
I am still on my quest to find 180 geocaches in 180 days. I have been doing quite well in finding at least one every day but I have already had to start hitting up the puzzle caches simply because I know that I am going to run out of other easily accessible ones eventually. Plus, it gets them off my list. The ones I have done have been relatively easy so I may enlist Tamara’s help to solve the hard ones.
I went to see the new Star Trek movie last night and I have to say that it kicked ass. Yes, it is a revisioned version of classic Trek but JJ and his crew did a fantastic job of capturing the essence of the original series and definitely made Trek cool. I am anxious to see how this will push the show into new directions. Maybe we’ll get lucky and see another TV series. Who knows.
